Personality Development - How to Carry Yourself In Interviews...


The foremost thing for personality development is communication.

Communication – Two types
- Verbal
- Non-verbal


Verbal Communication
- Grammar
- Vocabulary
- Clarity of Speech
- Sequence of Thought
- Pace of Speech
- Tone of Voice/Modulation
- Punctuation

Non-Verbal Communication


- Gesture – The use of movement of the body, especially of the hands
to express a certain meaning
- Posture – A particular bodily position
- Eye Contact/Movement of eye to different peoples in the group.
- Facial Expression.
- Body Language


Always remember there are three fears in this Modern era:
- Fear of failure.
- Fear of rejection.
- Fear of being ridiculed.
Never allow these fears to overcome you and you can see the result for
yourself.



Nature’s best system regarding how a child learns (Includes everyone)
- Environment.
- Exposure.
- Hear.
- Listen.

"If you sow an action, you reap a habit.
If you sow an habit, you reap a character.
If you sow a character, you reap a destiny."

Specific Requirements For Personality Development.


Communication Skills
- Verbal.
- Non-verbal.


Health –A sound health always creates a good impression.
Dress Code – Always follow the Thumb Rule for dress code

- D – Dark – Shoes.
- L – Light – Socks.
- D – Dark – Pants (Grey, Black or shades of black).
- L – Light – Shirts (Plain shirts with full sleeves).
- D – Dark – Tie (Should be plain or stripped).


- A Tie should be used which does not exceed two Colors – To get a
distinct Personality.

- A man with a passive personality should use light shades of shirts.


- A man with an aggressive personality should wear shirts of darker
shades.




Personal Grooming which includes :
- Take a bath daily.
- Always be fresh.
- Be always clean shaved.
- Comb your hair tidily.
- Use body Sprays.
- Use properly cleaned and properly ironed clothes.
- Use polished shoes and etc.



Behavior i.e. acting appropriate in a particular situation.


Attitude :

- The only word in the dictionary that sums exactly 100.
- Positive attitude with logical reasons means realistically positive
attitude.
- Realistically knowing one’s own strength is known as Positive
attitude.


All Round Awareness :

- Try to know and learn things happening around.
- Try to read newspapers and magazines on a daily basis.

“Jack of all trades, Master of One.”


And always remember:


“What lies behind you and what lies after you is always less than what lies inside you.”

  13. Good day admin. I've found your blog as very helpful and excellent for many people who want to improve their lifestyle and living. For personality development, it actually gives keen details of information towards becoming a better and well respected individual. For Interview Questions and Answers, I got many amazing answers that would benefit into my ideas in answering those questions when it will be asked during my interview on this coming Monday.
